Job summary

BHE Pipeline Group seeks a corrosion control specialist to support design, construction, and operation of natural gas pipeline facilities in the Salt Lake City area. You will ensure accurate corrosion control procedures, perform audits, and guide multiple teams in executing project plans.

Candidate must have six years of related corrosion experience with a NACE certification, strong data analysis and project-management skills, and familiarity with regulated pipeline systems.

Qualifications

• This is a multi-level posting requiring six years of progressive corrosion experience and a NACE certification.
• Experience managing a corrosion control program for regulated pipelines is preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication; advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Project management skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides detailed technical support on projects and technical studies.
• Shares responsibility for accuracy and implementation of the corrosion control program; auditing and data maintenance.
• Coordinates efforts to address mandatory action items within the corrosion control program.
• Provides guidance and support to departments, including preparation of technical white papers.
• Supports audits and develops economic and feasibility assessments for corrosion control projects.
• Leads internal/external resources to resolve issues related to pipeline facilities.
