An innovative state agency is seeking a dedicated Corrections Unit Manager to lead and support the rehabilitation of inmates. In this full-time role, you will oversee the security and treatment programs at the State Correctional Institution, ensuring compliance with established standards. As a Corrections Unit Manager, you willensure all needs are met within inmate housing units at SCI Waymart. You will plan and direct unit security and treatment programs as well as develop operational goals and procedures that address the specialized needs of units. You will also monitor housekeeping plans, unit security practices, and treatment services for compliance with DOC directives, policies, and standards. This role requires attention to detail and effective communication skills to supervise a multi-disciplinary team and proactively resolve conflicts between inmates. In addition, you will conduct staff meetings, perform inspections, submit budget requests, and exercise care, custody and control over inmates at all times.
