Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree may substitute for part of the required experience.
• Must complete SCDC Basic Training (8 weeks) after hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage applicants and provide information about role and process.
• Screen applications for minimum qualifications and assist candidates.
• Conduct interviews and coordinate interviews with the Warden.
• Manage pre-employment requirements including testing and background checks.
• Oversee new-hire orientation and initial job shadowing.
• Track progress, maintain records, and report recruitment trends.
• Coordinate with HR, training staff, and leadership to support staffing needs.
