Qualifications

• Education requirement cannot substitute for specialized experience.
• At least one year of specialized experience at the next lower grade level is required.
• Experience in mailroom, receiving and discharge areas, transfer coordination, security procedures, and related duties.

Responsibilities

• Experience in supervising large groups of inmates in preparation for bus or airlift operations.
• Coordinate exchanges of custody with federal and non-federal agencies.
• Carry out proper release of inmates who have completed their federal sentences, including identification and paperwork.
