Qualifications

• Education cannot substitute experience for this position.
• At least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty to the next lower grade level.
• Experience examples include preparing, changing, and implementing post orders; maintaining biweekly/daily rosters; conducting instruction and training on correctional procedures; preparing annual/quarterly budgets.
• Credit will be given for paid and unpaid experience with actual time spent in activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, change, and implement post orders.
• Prepare and maintain biweekly and daily assignment rosters.
• Conduct regularly scheduled instruction and training classes relating to correctional procedures and techniques.
• Prepare annual/quarterly budgets for the department.
