Job summary

The role provides supervision, staff development, and coordination with regional councils, with duties spanning data entry, audits, and program leadership in a demanding jail environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field.
• Three years of admin leadership or related experience (planning, project management, or contract management).
• Experience in law enforcement or healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision, leadership, guidance, and training to assigned staff; conduct evaluations and participate in hiring and disciplinary processes.
• Develop and coordinate activities consistent with BHA program requirements and reporting.
• Coordinate with Region 16 Opioid Abatement Council for reporting and compliance.
• Research and recommend evidence‑based interventions and MAT policies.
• Monitor program effectiveness and provide staff training for counseling, assessments, and MAT usage; collaborate with partner agencies.
• Perform individualized counseling for incarcerated clients, including service planning and transition planning; document interactions in data systems.
• Ensure SUD functions meet best practice standards, contract compliance, and accreditation requirements.
• Assist in jail policy/procedure development for SUD and MAT programs; prepare monthly reports for stakeholders.
• Prepare for NCCHC and ACA audits as needed; perform other duties as required.
