Job summary

State of Washington - Vancouver East Field Office in Vancouver, WA seeks a Corrections Specialist 3 (INTERNAL) to supervise Graduated Reentry and monitor participants in the GRE/EMP programs. This is an internal, full-time, permanent role serving the Community Corrections Division.

Based at the Vancouver East Field Office, the CS3 will coordinate with families, community providers, and employers, ensuring compliance with DOC policy and state law while guiding participants toward productive

Qualifications

• Armed staff must have the ability to carry and properly utilize a department-issued firearm.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Washington state driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor incarcerated individuals in the community and in accordance with Washington State law, rules, regulations, and agency policy.
• Engage with incarcerated individuals to encourage and work towards positive change.
• Enforce GRE/EMP conditions and the law.
• Facilitate the requirements of EESB 5121 Graduated Reentry.
• Lead other Corrections Specialists.
• Other duties as assigned and necessary.
