Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, contractors, and others at a government correctional location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, and access points.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials as assigned.
• Respond to incidents calmly, notify appropriate personnel and follow protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for leadership.
