Qualifications

• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, contractors at a government correctional location by carrying out security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, access points, perimeter, and parking to identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document activity per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and follow established response protocols.
• Prepare clear reports and logs and communicate observations to leadership.
