Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Corrections Security Officer – Entry Screening in Greenville, SC. You will perform unarmed patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents at a government correctional location, delivering professional customer service and maintaining safety with Allied Universal values.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city-issued license for security-related work is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports, maintain required activity logs, and communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

As a Corrections Security Officer – Entry Screening in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Fri06:00 AM – 06:00 PM

Sat06:00 AM – 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
