Job summary

Staff Today Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse in Spruce Pine, NC to deliver compassionate patient care in a correctional setting. You will assess health needs, administer medications, monitor progress, and collaborate with physicians and care teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Required: NC RN license, 1+ year RN experience, BLS and PSV documentation as applicable. Local pay is $53.00/hour; travel pay and stipends may apply for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Current, valid NC RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 1+ year of RN experience in the last 3 years.
• Copy of PSV or similar verification from licensing board if required.
• Current BLS and required certifications kept up to date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and therapies as prescribed.
• Monitor progress and document assessments and outcomes.
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams for patient needs.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and discharge plans.
• Perform wound care, IV therapy, and EMR documentation.
