Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Correctional Registered Nurse to collaborate with healthcare teams and correctional staff to maintain inmate health. You will deliver routine and emergency care in a correctional facility, adapting to unique environmental challenges.

Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, CPR if applicable, and a preference for at least one year in correctional health care. Travel eligibility is expected.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to address the well-being of incarcerated individuals.
• Provide routine and emergency health care within a correctional facility setting.
• Apply knowledge to address challenges specific to the correctional environment.
