Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Correctional Registered Nurse to work in a correctional facility in Connecticut. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, officers, and administrators to provide routine and emergency care to incarcerated patients.

This contract‑full time position requires an active RN license, CPR if applicable, and compliance with federal/state requirements. The role offers competitive pay, weekly paychecks, health/dental/vision and life insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well‑being of the incarcerated population. The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specific challenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing care to their patient population. This care includes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility setting.

Minimum Requirements:
