Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Correctional Registered Nurse for travel assignments in correctional facilities. You will collaborate with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to deliver patient-centered care within the unique constraints of the correctional environment.

The role involves providing routine and emergency health services, adhering to federal, state, and local requirements, and ensuring the well-being of incarcerated individuals.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with other healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensure the well-being of the incarcerated population.
