Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Denver, CO. The RN will provide routine and emergency health care in a correctional facility, collaborating with healthcare professionals, officers, and administrators to support inmate well-being.

The ideal candidate holds an active RN license in the practicing state, has correctional health care experience, and meets all regulatory requirements. Position offers weekly pay and 36 hours per week.

Formación

• Current RN license for the state where the nurse practices.
• At least 1 year of correctional health care experience (preferred).
• CCHP-RN certification (preferred).
• Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

The Correctional RN works in collaboration with otherhealthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to ensurethe well-being of the incarcerated population.The Correctional RN utilizes their knowledge to address the specificchallenges and limitations of the correctional environment while providing careto their patient population. This careincludes both routine and emergency health care in a correctional facilitysetting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experiencepreferred
• CCHP-RN Certification preferred
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
