Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Corrections Registered Nurse (RN) in Columbia, KY for a contract - full time position. The role pays $48 per hour and delivers 37.50 hours per week in a correctional setting.

The RN will work in collaboration with healthcare professionals, correctional officers, and administrators to provide routine and emergency care, addressing the unique challenges of the correctional environment. A valid KY RN license and state compliance are required.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Minimum of one year of correctional health care experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Minimum Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which thenurse practices

• CCHP-RN Certification preferred
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
