GEO Secured Services is seeking a dedicated recreation coordinator to plan and supervise activities for detainees. You will lead teams, organize tournaments, and ensure a safe, clean recreation space with proper equipment maintenance.

The role requires a high school diploma with exposure to physical education or therapeutic recreation; prior inmate population experience is advantageous and a valid driver’s license may be needed. This is a full-time position with GEO Secured Services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; experience in physical education or recreational therapy is desirable.
• A degree in Physical Education, Recreational Therapy, or related field is preferred.
• Experience with inmate populations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize recreational activities for detainees.
• Coach all athletic teams and oversee competitions.
• Inspect recreation areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Provide weekly safety training to recreation staff.
• Maintain and schedule repair of equipment and records.
