Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking staff to coordinate facility activity programs and work with offenders to support rehabilitation. The role includes monitoring eligibility, scheduling groups, and coordinating community projects with volunteers.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of correctional or related social services experience.
• Credit hours substitution policy for education at rate of 30 hours per year of experience.
• Eligibility for shift differentials and housing-based differentials as described.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and coordinate new or revised facility activity programs.
• Monitor files and work with treatment teams to identify offenders eligible for participation.
• Schedule and supervise offender groups or workers outside the facility and visits.
• Assist offender groups in selecting community projects and recruit volunteers.
• Perform work per established rules and regulations and other duties as assigned.
