Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Ability to read and comprehend workplace policies and to prepare workplace reports and documentation.
• Ability to lawfully possess a firearm in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Ability to complete pre-employment medical screening, background check and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Provide security over adult inmates at the institution and during transport.
• Supervise the daily activities of inmates while observing and recording behavior and movement.
• Ensure safety and custody in accordance with policies and procedures.
