Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to lawfully possess a firearm in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Willing to complete medical screening, background check and drug testing including marijuana.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and security of the public, staff, and inmates by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Monitor and document inmate behavior and movement to ensure safe confinement.
• Supervise inmates during transport and carry out daily activities under supervision.
