Job summary

Green Lake County Sheriff’s Office seeks a Corrections Officer to oversee daily operations of the Correctional Facility under the Corrections Administrator. Duties include inmate handling, security checks, meal service, and jail records; night shift and weekend differential applies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post high school education preferred.
• Must possess valid Wisconsin Driver's License and obtain CPR, AED, TIME System, and Corrections Officer Certification within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Books and releases inmates with proper paperwork.
• Performs security checks on inmates and logs checks.
• Maintains jail logs and records; data entry.
• Regulates visitation and other inmate activities.
• Monitors Hubers inmates and performs check-ins/check-outs.
• Transports inmates as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
