Job summary

Green Lake County Sheriff's Office in Wisconsin seeks a Corrections Officer to supervise daily facility operations and inmate activities. You will work the night and weekend shifts with differential pay and ensure safety and compliance across the jail environment.

The role requires strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to follow English instructions while supporting security and administrative tasks. CPR/AED/TIME/COR certifications within one year are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post high school preferred.
• Civil or military law enforcement experience or equivalent.
• Valid Wisconsin driver's license; 20/20 vision or corrective.
• Must obtain CPR, AED, TIME System, and Corrections Officer Certification within one year.

Responsibilities

• Books and releases inmates with proper paperwork.
• Performs security checks on inmates and logs checks; refers inmates for medical situations.
• Maintains jail log and jail records; performs required data entry.
• Regulates visitation and inmate activities.
• Transports inmates to designated locations as assigned.
• Operates intoximeter, recording systems, alarms; assists with monitoring programs.
