Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 by background check
• U.S. citizenship
• High school graduation or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with ability to obtain and maintain Frederick County Employee Driving Permit
• MPCTC certification as a Correctional Officer
• Lateral entry considered for current out-of-state certified officers

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and discipline at the Frederick County Adult Detention Center on assigned shifts under supervision.
• Participate as part of a team with other correctional personnel to ensure a safe, secure environment.
