Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• US citizen or lawful resident (as required by state law).
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have the ability to read, analyze and interpret various types of reports and documents.

Responsibilities

• Observe, move, book, search, and process inmates in a detention facility.
• Transport inmates to court hearings and medical appointments.
• Distribute meals, medications, and supervise daily activities.
• Enforce facility rules and maintain safety and security; interact with inmates and other agencies.
