Job summary

Centurion Health seeks a full-time Mental Health Professional at Valdosta State Prison in Valdosta, GA. You will provide mental health case management and therapy in a correctional setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include intake/assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and delivering individual and group therapy; day shift with a 4x10 option. Master's degree required; license eligibility; TB and CPR certification; background check; 2 years of

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution.
• Must be license eligible.
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.
• Minimum of two years' experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management in a correctional setting and consult with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Conduct intake and assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Provide individual and group therapy as part of comprehensive mental health care.
