Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional at Valdosta State Prison in Valdosta, GA. You will provide mental health case management services, conduct intake and assessments, and work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care including crisis intervention and individual/group therapy.

The role requires a Masters in a relevant field, license eligibility, and CPR/TB documentation, with a preference for at least two years of direct mental health care

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Must be license eligible.
• Minimum two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
• Must show current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification.

We are currently seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Valdosta State Prison located in Valdosta, Georgia.

The Mental Health Professional provides mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting and consults with a multi-disciplinary team in providing comprehensive mental health care, including: intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and providing individual and group therapy.
