Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Mental Health Professional to join our team at the Valdosta State Prison in Valdosta, GA. The role provides mental health case management, intake assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications include a master’s degree in a relevant field and license eligibility, TB documentation, and CPR certification. Two years of direct mental illness care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's level degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Must be license eligible and able to obtain agency security clearance.
• Minimum of two years’ direct care experience with individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must pass background check and provide TB documentation and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake assessments and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed within a correctional setting.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
• Deliver individual and group therapy to patients and monitor progress.
