Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an assembly setting.
• Knowledge of training methods to explain and demonstrate work tasks to others.
• Data entry skills using a keyboard/computer.
• Basic mathematics to estimate production costs/time/materials.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards per OSHA and fire/safety rules.
• Oral communication to train, direct, and motivate workers; build relations.
• Written communication to clearly complete instructions and reports.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train and supervise incarcerated persons in laundry and assembly areas to maintain security and efficiency.
• Set up production machinery to ensure finished products meet quality standards.
• Oversee workflow to maintain smooth production flow.
• Receive calls/meet with customers to provide technical support.
• Maintain security of tools, equipment, and personnel.
• Ensure quality control and inventory/equipment maintenance are performed as specified.
