Minnesota Department of Corrections, Minnesota Correctional Facility – Faribault, seeks a Corrections Manufacturing Specialist - Light Assembly to supervise incarcerated persons in MINNCOR/Laundry operations, ensuring security and production efficiency. The role includes machine setup, workflow oversight, quality control, inventory maintenance, and safety compliance, with a Day Shift, Monday–Friday on-site.
Salary ranges from $63,579 to $73,330 annually ($30.45–$35.12 hourly).

This position is in MINNCOR Industries at the Minnesota Correctional Facility – Faribault and provides direct supervision of Incarcerated Persons in an industrial setting involved with a diverse array of standards and custom laundry/linens work.
This position has direct contact with individuals who are incarcerated.

The completion of pre-placement physical components may be required for this position. These components consist of a tuberculosis screening. The selection process may include screening the top candidate(s) on their criminal history, predatory offender registration, offender associations and/or other applicable background information in accordance with Department of Corrections’ policy. Top candidate(s) must pass a criminal history check which includes successful completion of all sentencing and/or restitution requirements of law enforcement jurisdictions, including probation.
Employment history/reference checks, including incidents of sexual harassment, will also be conducted on the top candidate(s) in accordance with Department of Corrections’ policy. This may include a review of job performance and discipline records.
New employees will be fingerprinted within the first 30 days of employment.
