Qualifications

• Four years of experience performing building maintenance, construction, or general trades work; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Background investigation and CJIS compliance required.
• Veterans’ employment preferences apply.

Responsibilities

• Direct inmate work crews in routine maintenance, grounds care, and construction tasks
• Perform or assist with semi skilled and skilled work in multiple trades
• Issue, track, and account for all tools and materials used during assignments
• Conduct searches to maintain security and ensure proper tool accountability
• Determine needed materials, prepare requests, and organize daily tasks
