Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Corrections LPN to work in Sterling, CO. This travel assignment involves providing general and emergency nursing care inside a correctional facility while maintaining security standards.

You must hold an active LPN/LVN license in the practicing state and have at least one year of corrections experience. CPR certification when applicable, health screening and regulatory compliance are required. Amergis offers weekly pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Location: Sterling, CO

The Corrections Licensed Practical Nurse/ LicensedVocational Nurse works in close and immediate contact with adults and juvenilesin custody on a daily basis providing general and emergency nursing care in theMedical and Ambulatory section of the Corrections Facility while maintainingfacility security standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Possesses a current LPN/LVN license in state practicing


• Minimum of one year experience in Corrections required


• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice


• Current CPR if applicable


• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable


• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)


• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements


• Must be at least 18 years of age
