• Must not have received less than a 3.00 rating on a performance evaluation within the past 3 fiscal years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Correctional Officers and Sergeants on assigned shifts and serve as initial commander during emergencies.
• Plan, organize and coordinate post assignments and leave for staff; ensure attendance reports are completed.
• Conduct training and evaluations; manage security coverage and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Supervise searches for contraband and inspect buildings and grounds for security and sanitation.
