Summit, a part of Elior North America, seeks an experienced Cook for the Douglas, WY correctional facility kitchen. The role involves working with a motivated team to prepare high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle quality control, portioning, and proper food storage while adhering to safety policies and recipes. Beneficial is a food handlers’ certification and a passion for scratch cooking.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Working knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to operate various kitchen equipment and differentiate food items.
• Customer service experience required.
