The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Hospital Officer to supervise detainees in a hospital setting, ensuring custody and safety at all times. You will adhere to strict restraint protocols and complete all required documentation and reports as part of the Medical Guarding Procedures.

Required are a high school diploma, 21+ years of age, and active state licenses for firearms and security, with the ability to travel and work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• State firearms and security licenses must be current.
• Certification in Corrections, Law Enforcement or Military is required.
• Minimum age of 21 and ability to travel with overnight stays.
• Ability to work overtime and handle high-stress environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain custody and control of detainees in the hospital at all times.
• Follow restraint protocols per Medical Guarding Procedures.
• Ensure detainees are not allowed outside visits unless contracted or ordered.
• Complete all required paperwork and reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain shift logs and promptly report unusual events to supervisor.
