Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates, train staff in meal preparation, and coordinate work to keep operations efficient. You will ensure sanitation and personal safety while adhering to all standards and regulations within a correctional facility.

Responsibilities include supervising food prep, evaluating population counts, and enforcing security procedures. The role requires flexibility and adherence to HACCP and Aramark SOPs, with benefits and opportunities

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members in a correctional environment.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to preparation and production guidelines per Aramark standards.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in the use of recipes and train on cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and accommodate dietary requirements.
• Maintain sanitation schedules and review daily logs.
