Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates in meal production, train staff, and enforce sanitation and safety standards. You will coordinate work, monitor logs, and ensure portions and dietary needs are met in a correctional setting.

The role emphasizes securing the facility, following HACCP-like procedures, and working with limited supervision to maintain efficient food service operations.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Ability to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members to meet quality and quantity targets.
• Follow basic safety procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmates to ensure meals align with production plans.
• Train workers in duties and coordinate work.
• Ensure sanitation and personal safety per standards.
• Review production and temperature logs.
• Direct inmates in use of recipes and proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure correct portions and dietary requirements.
• Maintain security by following policies and locking storage areas.
• Assist in inventory and material receiving.
• Prepare work and sanitation schedules.
