Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates in food production, train workers, and coordinate tasks to meet production goals in a correctional facility.

Role focuses on sanitation, safety, and adherence to all standards and regulations, including HACCP policies. The incumbent will manage logs, inventories, and meal preparation with a focus on quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Aramark production guidelines and approve logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Participate in preparation and serving of meals.
• Prints and distributes recipes and trains staff on procedures.
• Direct inmates in use of Aramark recipes and proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Follow security policies; keep storage areas locked.
• Ensure kitchen tools/equipment are secured and returned.
• Set work and sanitation schedules for cooks and inmates.
