Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services seeks a Corrections Oversight Worker to supervise inmates, train workers, and coordinate production to meet meal plans in a correctional facility. You will enforce sanitation, safety, and security standards while maintaining production quality.

You will review logs, direct recipe usage, ensure portions meet dietary needs, and manage inventory with limited supervision. This role carries physical demands and strict adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines by reviewing production logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in the use of recipes and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and accommodate special dietary requirements.
• Adhere to security policies; secure storage areas and equipment.
• Assist in inventory, receiving, and storage of food items; requisition orders as needed.
