• Ability to calculate food costs, inventory levels, and reorder points; analyze dietary values.
• Ability to determine material and supply requirements for large inmate populations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections to ensure sanitation, proper temperatures, and equipment use per contract standards.
• Collaborate with the food service vendor and ADOC Food Service Contract Manager to ensure compliance.
• Create reports summarizing visits and develop action plans with vendors.
• Monitor staffing levels to maintain adequate coverage for operations at facilities.
• Provide guidance on food safety standards and contract compliance to staff.
