Job summary

The State of Wisconsin is recruiting for a Corrections Food Service Leader 3 at Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center in Union Grove, WI. You will direct meal production, train inmate workers, plan menus, and procure supplies while maintaining sanitation and inventory controls.

This full-time on-site role under supervision involves supervisory duties, adherence to recipes, and coordination with the Food Service Manager. Excellent benefits and retirement options are provided.

The Department of Corrections is currently recruiting to fill a Corrections Food Service Leader 3 position, located at Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center (REECC) in Union Grove, Wisconsin. REECC is part of the Wisconsin Women's Correctional Center System. This is a re-announcement.

Position Summary

Under the general supervision of the Food Service Manager, this position is responsible for the food service operation at the Robert E. Ellsworth Correctional Center. Direct the production of meals; train and supervise inmate food service workers; plan meals and procure supplies; care for and clean kitchen equipment; maintain food inventory and proper sanitation standards. May work holidays and weekends, and other times as needed and/or directed. This position will use computer software in the preparation of food estimates.

Salary Information

This position is in pay schedule and range 03-13 with a starting pay of $26.87/hour, plus excellent benefits. Pay will be set in accordance with the Compensation Plan and Wisconsin Administrative Code in effect at the time of hire. A probationary period is required.

Job Details

Qualifications
