Job summary

Elior North America is seeking a Food Service Director for our Corrections segment at Venango County Prison, PA. You will lead a skilled team, oversee all aspects of the food service department, ensure meals are served on time, and maintain high culinary, safety and sanitation standards.

You'll manage budgeting, purchasing, and forecasting while collaborating with district leadership to meet targets and deliver consistent, quality dining experiences for inmates and staff.

Qualifications

• At least two years of experience coordinating food service operations.
• Experience with industrial cooking.
• Excellent communication with hourly staff and executives.
• Ability to manage in a diverse environment with a client-focused approach.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Lead all functions of the food service department and resources.
• Manage and lead a team, including hiring and training new employees.
• Ensure staff meet culinary, safety, and sanitation standards and regulations.
• Budget the department, including purchasing ingredients and forecasting.
• Coordinate with the district manager on dining service aspects.
• Address customer service needs.
