As a Corrections Facility Security Officer - Badge Controlin Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government corrections location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, report security-related concerns, and deliver professional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to facility staff, visitors, and authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to assigned areas by verifying credentials, documenting visitor entry and exit, and reporting access concerns according to site‑specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, contacting appropriate site personnel and/or emergency services when directed.
• Prepare accurate written reports and maintain required logs related to patrols, incidents, access activity, and other security‑related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A state, county, or city‑issued security‑related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
