Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, vocational rehabilitation, or related field.
• Experience in workforce development, case management or reentry services preferred.
• Knowledge of local labor markets and community resources.
• Valid local driver’s license, insurance and good driving record.
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background check in Florida.
• Knowledge of correctional systems and challenges faced by incarcerated individuals.
• Familiarity with CRPS certification requirements in Florida.
• Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS; coaching and feedback skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, selecting and implementing assessment tools to gather information on clients’ skills and employability.
• Creating training materials and course objectives to provide job readiness training and assisting clients in achieving employment goals.
• Establishing working relationships with employers, community agencies and other potential job sources for placement.
• Maintaining knowledge of occupational outlook and updating responsibilities and qualifications as needed.
