Job summary

Minimum three years in plant operations or equivalent, plus basic training in Elizabethtown. Telework is not available; starting salary is $49,010 with potential increases per the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience operating, maintaining, and repairing steam or hot water generating plants or equivalents.
• Ability to perform essential job functions and operate in a correctional environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boiler plant systems and related equipment.
• Monitor and adjust controls, perform maintenance checks, and document daily operations.
• Direct inmate workers, ensure tool control, and conduct safety inspections.
• Communicate with supervisors and complete required paperwork daily.
