Job summary

TransCor America, LLC seeks Transportation Officers to safely manage inmate transport operations with strict adherence to policy. The role includes trip supervision, inspections, and potential advancement after 3–6 months to Officer in Charge with pay increases and quarterly bonuses.

Training is provided, including paid sessions in Nashville, TN; benefits include medical, PTO, 401(k) and bi-weekly pay. Must be 21+, hold a valid license, and be willing to travel for training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Willing to work changing hours.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Prefer CDL A or B or Corrections, Security, Military, Law Enforcement, or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Safe and secure management of inmate, detainee and/or resident population and trip movement.
• Monitor and supervise inmate activity per TCA policy.
• May be assigned as AOIC on trip activity when directed.
• Follow safety practices and report injuries per policy.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and briefings.
• Maintain communication with Trip Management and Field Office Supervisor.
• Complete preventive maintenance of equipment and ensure readiness of restraints and related gear.
• Manage resources including medications and property.
• Apply restraints and Use of Force per policy.
• Achieve and maintain OIC certification for AOIC eligibility.
