Job summary

TransCor America seeks a Transportation Officer to oversee safe custody and movement of inmates and detainees on assigned trips. You will supervise trip activity, communicate with Trip Management, and ensure compliance with security policies.

The role requires willingness to travel for a 3-week paid training in Nashville and advancing to leadership roles after demonstrating performance. A valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three years of experience in military, law enforcement, security, corrections, or related fields.
• Valid driver's license.
• Willing to travel for training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and secure management of the inmate, detainee and resident population and trip movement.
• Monitor and supervise inmate and trip activity per policy and direct actions as needed.
• Maintain communications with Trip Management and field office staff.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and ensure proper documentation is completed.
• Apply safety practices and report injuries or incidents per policy.

Skills
