Job summary

State of Oklahoma seeks a Correctional Training Officer to lead training and staff development at Great Plains Correctional Center. You will analyze training needs, develop curricula, and deliver both pre-service and in-service programs on diverse topics.

Level I/II responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, coordinating sessions, and maintaining records. A bachelor’s degree is required with correctional experience preferred. On-site, full-time role.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of training principles and methods.
• Ability to develop lesson plans and materials.
• Experience with classroom training and evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts job analyses to identify training needs and develops curricula.
• Delivers classroom training, workshops, and seminars.
• Prepares training reports and maintains records.
• Schedules training sessions and coordinates locations.
• Supervises other training officers and coordinates programs.
• Manages training contracts with service providers.
