Texas Department Of Criminal Justice seeks a Sergeant of Correctional Officers - Correctional Training Instructor to supervise entry-level training and deliver mobile, on-site instruction at units across the state. You will travel to facilities and teach defensive tactics, searches, inmate supervision, and emergency response to security and non-security personnel.

• 2+ years correctional custody or law enforcement experience.
• Must complete instructor certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to assigned facilities to deliver on-site training.
• Instruct security and non-security staff in defensive tactics, searches, inmate supervision, and emergency response.
• Coordinate training logistics and evaluate participant performance.
• Administer examinations and ensure participants meet agency training standards.
• Develop and revise lesson plans and training aids; certify staff in required skills.
