Job summary

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Managed Care is seeking a full‑time clerical professional to support correctional health services, telehealth coordination, and clinic operations. The role focuses on ensuring accurate notes, timely reminders, and smooth patient flow within the EMR system.

Responsibilities include coordinating telehealth clinics, processing provider notes, and supporting team goals while maintaining high quality care across West Texas facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Three years progressively responsible clerical experience.
• Additional education and/or related experience to equal three years may substitute on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Telehealth presenting.
• Ensure continuity of care for specialty telehealth clinics.
• Coordinate clinic operations
• Patient throughput management.
• Process provider notes for accurate and complete information.
• Manage reminders in the EMR system.
• Take vital signs
• Respond to all requests in a timely manner as required and necessary for effective communication
• Support the goal of the unit by attending meetings.
• Effectively participate in the overall goals of the Managed Care team.
• Other duties as assigned.
