Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as Social Worker 1 or Forensic Social Worker 1 (commonwealth titles) with continuous service; or two years with a bachelor's in social work; or two years of direct social work with a bachelor's in social work; or a master's in social work or social welfare.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling, guidance, crisis management, and supportive services to inmates and families.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate social service programs with staff and community groups.
• Maintain records and reports for case management and communication.
• Assist with parole preparation, reentry coordination, and community placement.
